Warga TeamUsrahCardiff, dengan kerjasama MSSCF (Malaysian Student Society of Cardiff University) dengan ini menjemput anda ke diskusi ilmiah yang kami anjurkan iaitu:
“Wacana Meneladani Peristiwa Hari Hartal”
Tahaaluf Siyasi (Phase 1, Series 1) – Introduction
Introduction
The idea of the enraging issue of the Islamic political treaty (tahaaluf siyasi) is not clearly understood by certain factions of the society, of whom are engaging in such treaty. Even worst, such misunderstanding could cause greater confusion among the masses.
As a member of the Islamic movement of Malaysia (PAS), I certainly hope that all leaders and members of this party could grasp on the principles, concepts, plan of action, objectives and stages of an Islamic political treaty. It is indeed encouraging that everyone could further understand this concept and its boundaries, of which is allowed and which is not, according to the Islamic rulings. Read more »
First part of my ‘Islamic State Project’
A friend of mine, Wan Aimran, wrote a brilliant piece of article entitled ‘Politik Islam hanya untuk orang Islam?’ which can be accessed through this link.
As I mentioned in my previous post, there are a few reading materials which I am engaging at the moment, for which each books and articles take quite some time to read and be understood. In the first part of my self-journey ‘Islamic State Project’, I will be translating a discourse on Tahaaluf Siyasi, which I translate it as the Islamic political treaty. Ukraine – last post
This last post from Ukraine is more of a reflection to myself.
I am in Kyiv (Kiev in Russian) since last Friday and will be spending the rest of my time here before I’m flying back to London on the 7th of August. There are a few plans that I have, for the moment. VIsiting the Malaysian Embassy, and Malaysian students, visiting some mosques and some museums around the city. I have made contact with 1 Malaysian student, male, who’s currently in Kyiv, and hope to meet them by Monday or Tuesday next week. Read more »
[Ukraine (4)] Ivano-Frankivsk train station
There are a few concerns that I have with the train station system in Ukrain. I will ealobrate on the side of the ticketeers, ticket buyers and the overall system.
Most of the ticketeers installed at all counters are mid-to-50’s, slow-working, cold-looking females. What could be worse? Read more »
Ukraine (3)
Last weekend, Marta (flatmate), Oksana (another interpreter) and me went to 2 of the most interesting villages in the Carpathian region; Yaremcha and Kolomia.
We started with Yaremcha on Saturday. A one-way trip going to the village cost about 10 Hrivna, and it took about one and a half hour to reach there. Read more »
